publications & resources

NASCOP has a number of resources for various HIV/AIDS programmes. Our information, communication and education materials include: training manuals and curricula, national and policy guidelines for national programmes, brochures, posters and pamphlets. Some of these materials are available for download on our website.

a) Kenya National Prevention of Mother to Child HIV Transmission: The aim of this Training Curriculum is to provide a resource for healthcare workers to learn about and implement state of the art care and treatment to address existing and emerging needs in Kenya. The recent availability of antiretroviral treatment in Kenya gave rise to the inclusion of a module on PMTCT- Plus that provides information, insights and skills-building exercises to assist the healthcare worker in offering a continuum of care to women and families living with HIV infection.
